Abstract

|
Budget Impact Analysis(BIA) is a tool to find out financial impact on positive list on purchaser of pharmaceuticals according to listing new drugs. Data includes various range of disease incidence rate, prevalence rate, substitution rate, time period, drug price, market share and total cost estimate, etc. In Korea, cost-effectiveness of new drug becomes as a decision criteria for reimbursement and price negotiation in decision process since 2007. Although it includes some data requirements for BIA, but it is not comprehensive. This study carried survey of experts’ opinion to find out the necessity of development BIA guidelines fit to Korean specific situation, and importance and feasibility of data requirements for BIA guideline.
